Our one-week Rosenberg summer camps are geared for children ages 8 - 14 years, and are an exciting way to experience the creative process offered by live theatre!
Each session we offer a morning acting camp and an afternoon stagecraft camp. Campers are welcome to attend either or both camps to accommodate your family's schedule. Both camp sessions will allow your camper to learn different plays and skills.
CAMPS
Acting Camp 9:30 am - 12:30 pm
Campers will play theatre games, learn acting techniques, audition and rehearse for the chosen play. Campers will get to show off their hard work and put on a final camp performance on Friday at 7 pm. Each child is guaranteed a role!
Stagecraft Camp 1 pm - 4 pm
Campers will learn how to make props, fashion costumes, paint set pieces, learn about sound and stage lighting and do other prep work for a theatre production. Campers will also be able to take home a theatre prop made during camp and have the opportunity to attend the final camp performance with family and see their work featured onstage!
All campers will receive a CAST Kids On Stage t-shirt, a link to the performance video and photos from throughout the week, a memento they’ve helped create from their theatre experience, and 2 complimentary tickets to the Friday evening performance for family members.
For each session you may choose a half-day camp or select both camps for the full day. Please note for the full day, there will be half an hour break between the morning and afternoon camp, so please provide lunch for your child each day of camp.
